InfoMagnus delivered hands-on GitHub Copilot workshops at a global industrial automation company, driving adoption among 470+ developers and generating over $60K in projected GitHub consumption.
A global industrial automation company sought to increase awareness and practical usage of GitHub Copilot among its developer community. While developers were exploring generative AI tools independently, there was a lack of structured enablement and clarity around Copilot’s enterprise availability and benefits. The goal was to drive adoption, enhance developer productivity, and align usage with the company’s enterprise GitHub investments.
A hybrid GitHub Copilot hands-on workshop was delivered using in-country InfoMagnus consultants, with several participants across technical levels joining in-person and remotely. The session featured end-to-end tool setup support, live product demonstrations, hands-on challenges tailored for multiple programming languages, and open dialogue on use cases and cross-team collaboration.
GitHub Copilot’s IDE-native context and integration capabilities were emphasized, addressing common misconceptions about availability and usability versus other AI tools among the company’s developers.
Encouraged by the success of the Copilot workshops, the company — through its partnership with InfoMagnus — has expressed interest in exploring additional GitHub services and broader enablement offerings. This includes potential areas beyond Copilot, reflecting strong trust in the partnership and ongoing commitment to developer productivity and innovation at scale.
This engagement is part of a broader wave of GitHub adoption initiatives currently underway, where InfoMagnus is actively supporting multiple customers in India to drive Copilot usage and GitHub platform demand.
