InfoMagnus led HMSA's mandated migration from GitHub Enterprise Server to GitHub Enterprise Cloud, supporting Blue Shield of California's directive as a trusted migration partner.
Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) was ready to migrate from their on-premise, managed instance of GitHub Enterprise Server to the GitHub Enterprise Cloud. As part of the larger Blue Shield California group, HMSA was selected by Blue Shield to be the first to accomplish this mandated migration to GHEC. To meet the ask, HMSA needed assistance from an experienced partner in the migration space to lead the effort and allow internal resources to remain focused on day-to-day tasks.
InfoMagnus joined the discussion early, participating in scoping conversations to understand the engagement’s size and scope, including the number of repositories, integration points, and other systems involved. Estimates and scope were completed on InfoMagnus paper as the team led efforts with HMSA engineers to prepare for the engagement. This included following a typical sales cycle, addressing security-related questions, and meeting with engineering representatives to discuss necessary preparations. Throughout the process, InfoMagnus ensured GitHub was informed and included.
