Expanding Enablement: Driving GitHub Actions and Copilot Adoption for a Cloud Data Management Company.

InfoMagnus was approached to facilitate a GitHub Actions training engagement for a cloud data management and security company. To get a further perspective into the overall strategy that GitHub is driving with the client, and to support efforts to adopt and consume the broader GitHub and Microsoft platform, the InfoMagnus sales team reached out to align with the GitHub account team. During strategic discussions, InfoMagnus identified the need to drive GitHub Copilot adoption. Collaborating with GitHub, Microsoft CSAM, and a Customer Success Executive for Cloud Solutions, InfoMagnus developed and proposed a tailored enablement approach aligned with Microsoft’s initiative to enhance GitHub Copilot adoption and utilization.

Structured Enablement: A Targeted GitHub Copilot Training Plan.

In collaboration with Microsoft and GitHub, InfoMagnus crafted a targeted proposal and outlined a structured enablement approach encompassing four introductory sessions on Copilot Fundamentals, four intermediate sessions to build on core skills, two advanced sessions focusing on Administration and Security, and advisory and office hours support for engineers. Microsoft submitted the enablement plan to the client’s leadership for approval. After endorsement, InfoMagnus coordinated training sessions and follow-up support with the engineering leadership.
