Program Overview
Adopting GitHub Copilot can transform your team’s productivity, but success starts with understanding your readiness.
This 2-week evaluation provides the tools, insight, and expert guidance to explore the potential of the GitHub Copilot tool, and the impact it could have on your team’s productivity.
1. Kickoff Meeting
A 1-hour session to introduce the program, review your DevOps workflow, and identify pain points, ideal use cases, and to introduce the survey that will help capture the next steps.
2. Readiness Survey
A self-paced, 60-70 question survey to assess your team’s readiness for GitHub Copilot implementation and adoption.
3. Copilot Webinar
A 1-hour webinar showcasing GitHub Copilot’s key features, use cases, tips, and tricks to maximize productivity.
4. Focus Areas
Personalized recommendations for exploring GitHub Copilot based on your survey results and initial discussion.
5. Office Hours
Two sessions in week 2 for demos, troubleshooting, and tips to keep your Copilot exploration on track.
6. Next Steps
Review survey results, usage, and actionable next steps for GitHub Copilot adoption.
Evaluation Timeline
This structured 2-week program is designed to let your teams explore GitHub Copilot and to discover how it could impact your daily workflow.
With expert support and a clear timeline, it’s a great way to explore the tool that is revolutionizing the developer experience and productivity.
Day 1: Kickoff
The InfoMagnus team kicks things off with a 1-hour intro meeting to align goals and workflows to your organization.
Day 2: Webinar
On day 2, program participants will learn foundational getting-started-concepts during a 1-hour webinar that will help point the way for exploration over the next 2-weeks.
Days 3-4: Survey
Days 3 and 4 are set for individual exploration. Use what you learned during the webinar and discover the tool's power in daily tasks by going hands-on.
Day 5: Focus Areas
On Day 5, after completing the readiness survey, wrap up the first week by identifying key focus areas for continued exploration in the final week of evaluation.
Days 8-13: Exploration
Over the next several days, participants actively continue exploring GitHub Copilot in their workflows, with expert support available during Office Hours (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1-hour sessions).
Day 14: Wrap-Up
InfoMagnus partners with you to review results, metrics, and next steps for successful Copilot adoption.
